Today Saturday, March 5, 2022, as Chief Ochi Odeh Emmanuel turns 58, the occasion gives his family members, friends, business associates and well wishers far and near enormous reasons to celebrate with him on this auspicious occasion.

Chief (Amb) Ochi

Born into a humble household of late Elder Ochi Oga of Any’Okwe hamlet of Any’ Idajo lineage of Ogwaje – Andibilla , Ibilla in Oju Local Government Area of Benue State, Chief Ochi’s life has been characterised with service to humanity and he has made outstanding contributions not just in Igedeland, but also far and wide. He has indelible marks in various areas of human endeavours .

Consequently, in all this, Chief Ochi Ode Emmanuel’s birthday is a fulfilled milestone which should be celebrated with pomp and pageantry.

Chief Ochi Odeh Emmanuel is one unique Nigerian personality of Igede extraction with imposing features, strides and achievements; an author, businessman and a leader of thought, who in the last 10 years has risen to become prominent in the clearing and forwarding business Industry.

He is the Chief Executive Officer of Dominion Global Logistics, with its corporate headquarters in Lagos whose tentacles have spread beyond the shores of Nigeria.

Chief Ochi Ode Emmanuel radiates exceptional attributes and leadership skills which Include humility, discipline and forthrightness. These rare virtues have made him a cynosure of friends, colleagues and his business associates.

Also referred to as Oji Kpururu 1 of Ibilla, he is rated as one of the most influential members of Middle Belt Traditional Council, MBTC which he is currently leading as Chairman, South West Chapter. It is very clear that he is playing a pivotal role to the growth and development of the council across the length and breadth of the nation.

This rare feat has been widely acknowledged by foremost Nigerians, including Chief Olusegun Obasano, Nigeria former President and Prof. Jerry Gana, among others, who have spoken eloquently about his leadership endowment, his tactical and strategist prowess.

One interesting thing about this buoyant businessman who clocks 58 today, is that since he took over the mantle of leadership of MBTC from his predecessor, both the profile and the activities of the body have garnered accelerated recognition of South Western governments and the federal Government because of the leadership acumen of the Benue High Chief.

It is imperative to note here that, amidst his herculean engagements in the shipping industry, he convenes and initiated Igede Intergrity Forum, a non-political group established with the primary aim of identifying and screening viable and suitable Igede political leaders for elective positions, those with requisite skills, qualifications, professional competence, among others.

To actualize this great task, he has solely committed colossal resources to this project.
Apart from committing his enormous resources at correcting the poor leadership recruitment in Igede, this Benue High Chief who turns 58 has continued to demonstrate his affection for his people, no matter the cost in spite of the economic crunch. He has not ceased from touching lives of the less privileged in the society.

As a philanthropist of note, he has impacted lives as well as helped and assisted many sons and daughters of Benue State, even through the provision of aids for further education both within and outside the shores of Nigeria.

As he marks his birthday, today, 5th March, 2022, there are clarion calls from the high, the low, the mighty, the rich, the poor, the educated, the uneducated and people from all strata of life calling on him to join the race for the 2023 general election as a gubernatorial candidate of the party of his choice or alternatively as a running mate to a viable candidate in view of his milk of human kindness. Whether he will yield to this call is another kettle of fish.

As he celebrates his 58th today, we at jamesibechi.com rejoice that he gets to live this long and hope for more years to come. Happy Birthday, wishing you many more birthdays to come and to celebrate.
Have a blast!
